Mil Mascaras

An accomplished artist, film star, scholar, cultural embassador, and Hall-of-Fame wrestler. Born in 1938, his career spanned over 50 years and is discussed in a 2012 Filmfax Magazine article and interview, which specifically focused on the making of Mil Mascaras vs. the Aztec Mummy and Academy of Doom. (The films were also highlighted when Mil was presented on the red carpet at the 2007 Imagen Awards in Hollywood and at an 2011 event in Mexico City when he was honored with a series of postage stamps commemorating his legendary career.)
